On May 26, accompanied by Li Yeqing, CEO of Huaxin Building Materials Group, Qie Yingcai, Secretary of the Huangshi Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation to Zug, Switzerland, for a return visit and research tour at Holcim Group. The delegation held talks with senior executives including Miljan Gutovic, CEO of Holcim Group; Martin Kriegner, Region Head Asia, Middle East & Africa; and Virginie Darbo, Head of Strategy and M&A.

Miljan Gutovic extended a warm welcome to Qie Yingcai and his delegation. He remarked that over the past 27 years, Holcim and Huaxin have shared a long journey. The bond between the two parties has grown increasingly close, with deepening mutual trust and a more solid foundation for cooperation. He noted that Huaxin's strengths in technological innovation, industrial services, and green development align perfectly with Holcim's corporate strategy, making them friendly strategic partners for mutual benefit. He expressed hope that both sides would continue to deepen high-level strategic cooperation, maintain strong momentum, and strive for even greater development.

On behalf of Huangshi City, Qie Yingcai expressed sincere gratitude to Holcim Group for its long-standing and strong support for both Huaxin Building Materials Group and the city of Huangshi, and provided a brief overview of the economic and social development in Huangshi. He stated that Huaxin and Holcim have forged ahead side by side, co-writing a brilliant chapter of win-win cooperation that has become a model for Chinese and Swiss corporate collaboration. Currently, Huangshi is seizing multiple strategic opportunities to accelerate its development as a key growth pole in the Wuhan Metropolitan Area and a central city in eastern Hubei. With numerous major projects and initiatives about to be implemented, the city holds immense potential. He looks forward to both parties working together for a prosperous future. He added that Huangshi will continue to foster a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized, fully supporting Holcim's development in the city to achieve mutual benefits across broader fields and at a deeper level.

During the visit, Qie Yingcai led his delegation toured Holcim Group to gain insights into its global operations, scale, development history, and strategic transformation. Additionally, the Huangshi municipal government and Holcim's senior management held a special shareholders' meeting.
