On September 2nd, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ms. Du Dewen visited Yuzhno-Kyrgyzskiy Cement Company, or YKC in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, accompanied by Counselor Yu Zhigang, Director Zhao Xueying, and Secretary Hui Yunqi. YKC is a wholly owned subsidiary company by Huaxin.

Mr. Lin Wei, the acting general manager of YKC, expressed the gratitude that strong support and assistance has received from the Chinese embassy since the acquisition, especially the customs clearance of over-sized spare parts in 2022. Mr. Lin briefly introduced the operational performance, the process of acquisition, employee development, cultural integration and social responsibility.

H. E. Ambassador Ms. Du Dewen extended her congratulations on the excellent achievements that have been made by the team despite the impact of COVID and other challenges. H.E. Ambassador emphasized that YKC needs to tap into potential and increase efficiency, maintain a stable team and work hard to improve employees' skills. The most crucial thing is to promote the localization and establish good relationships with the surrounding communities. In addition, special attention should be paid to the legal and compliance. The Chinese embassy will continue to support Chinese business and protect their legal rights in Kyrgyztan. 

At the same time, H.E. hoped that Chinese expats would enjoy a happy and healthy life in Kyrgyzstan.
